Book Haul: The Picture Of Dorian Grey - Oscar Wilde

So for valentines day I was a very lucky girl and was bought this amazing edition of "The Picture Of Dorian Grey" by Oscar Wilde. This version was published by Barnes & Noble as part of it's Collectible Editions hardcover classics they brought out.

The cover is a gorgeous dark chocolate colour with delicate gold flicks to accentuate the design with a bold white title for the main part of the title, giving the book an overall feel of absolute beauty. Each of the pages is coloured a dark green colour also to ensure even from the side, this book is a beauty.

The Spine is also a major talking point of this book, it features delicate patterns which add to the sophistication of the book and make it look like a real treat, the title and authors name is also in the same deep gold colour as on the title page.

Along with this beautiful inside of the hardback, it's hard not to find this book an absolute delight to look at.
It also features a long gold ribbon to mark your place in the book as you read along.

The actual writing within the book is so easy to read and the thicker pages make it so easy to get through, each page has the number in the top outermost corner from the spin with the left side of the book featuring the title and the right featuring the authors name.

Along with beautiful letterings for the first  letter on the first page of  a new chapter.

The end of the book also includes this print of the authors signature in the same decorative patterns as seen on the front on the book which I felt gave the book a wonderful overall theme.

The back of the hardcover also features a quote from within the book in the same script to give the reader an overall feel for the book.

I can't wait to get into this one!

What do you think of these barnes and noble editions and are you like me ready to start your collection of them?
Let me know in the comments!
